NYAG: Herbal Supplements Don’t Contain What They Claim

 

I love taking health supplements but nowadays you have to be careful of which brands to buy

Back in 2012 a paper was published by the Journal of the American Medical Association warning that the lack of regulation of the supplement industry could lead to “adverse events.”

In the past five years, tainted supplements have also been associated with kidney failure, hepatitis and other problems but to make matters worse, there is now an investigation, of sorts, by the New York Attorney General Office (NYAG) Their investigation into some herbal brands on the market recently has uncovered that some herbal supplements don’t contain what they claim.
